Staz Hotel Ulsan

Very clean and modern, thanks to special offer I got an upgrade to suite room, very good value for money.

Surrounding area is still being developed, nothing much to do, view from my room had nothing much of interest.

Really spacious, modern and clean rooms. The bathroom is great!

It wasn't a problem for me, but there isn't really a front desk. Everything is done through online check-in. Makes you win time and allow for lower prices, but don't expect to get recommandation about the city.

Location was great, staff in the coffee shop were very helpful, coffee was good. I would stay again as great value for money and very clean.

Shower leaked but resolved the problem with rolling a towel on the floor. Air conditioning is controlled centrally so found the room too warm.

Stayed at this hotel twice during our trip to Korea and both times it was great, first time we also got a room upgrade as there was an issue with the window in the previous room.Good size rooms, staff was nice and friendly

Small rooms, no good breakfast and something wrong with the AC.

The staff at reception was very accommodating and friendly. I requested a room on a high floor with a view of the ferris wheel and got just that! I was so happy. The room was very nice and clean. Loved the comfy bed, extra pillows and rainshower in the bathroom. The gym is open for guests for free and there's also a bar and restaurant on site and a breakfast cafe. The location is great, near a bus stop, walking distance to Lotte Department Store and Hyundai Department Store.

I arrived an hour earlier than check-in time and was unfortunately not able to check-in then. You need to pay 10k ₩ per hour extra.

Breakfest is good. Location is also good.

The room was clean, quiet, and had a good view of the city. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and filling.

There was nothing in particular that I did not like.

Sometimes, I don’t know why I heard loud bumping sound as if I was underneath a theater.

Everything was perfect.I loved the hotels location and front desk was super friendly. The accepted my wish in a higher floor with maybe nice view and the view was stunning. I definitely recommend the hotel. The room was big and clean. Becaue I dident wanted the clean service they put everyday the back infront of the door. That was great.The curtains where awesome and made the room really dark (what I need to sleep) I loved the gym even tho it was a bit small but still fantastic. Especially the massage chair ?I should have tried the breakfast but I was to busy. Location was also easy super close to thaewan station and also not far from the downtown. Thr busstation is also really close. I will definitely come back

Well the street is still quite loud especially for sportscars and bikes bit still okay.

Easy to find. The staff were really kind. The bed was really comfortable, the room size was perfect, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean! I was very happy that they have on-site parking (basement). There are several restaurants and cafes in the area as well as convience stores.

Both streets next to the hotel are frequented all night long. My room, although on a higher floor, heard every single sound coming from the traffic (window and curtains were closed). It's not the hotel's fault; it's just unfortunate. It's literally the only downside. Lol

There is aircon in the room during winter unlike most hotels in korea. Location is quite convenient to the attractions nearby. The room and bathroom was quite big and spacious.

The door couldnt be locked.. breakfast only had 2 options to choose from. The tv channels were limited and some channels are heavily static...

It was close to the train station and city life. The room was clean, comfortable and and just nice interior.

from the outside the entrance looked a bit unapproachable

Bed size is a bit too small , limited parking available for SUV car. We need to park our car in the open space car parkBfast is one set meal not buffet either western or Korean meal

Room was super clean, bed was comfy in a good location.

Parking could've been better as public parking is about 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel but it's free

The room was hot, no A/C. When we complained in fluent Korea , the maintenance person said it was 1 C lower per hour in the system. It was 27c at checkin, temp went to 25.c in the morning. After a shower, temp went up to 27c, a guy came to room with a stick with papers on it, he declared the room was good..... there was no air flow. The hotel gave a fan to make the room cooler, that is not acceptable

I honestly never really expect much from a hotel except good breakfast and helpful staff. But this hotel doesn't really check any of these boxes because alot of the staff aren't the friendliest (excluding the cleaning staff - one woman in particular was just so lovely and bubbly everytime we bumped into her) and the breakfast and lunch options are extremely poor (also restaurant closes at 3pm). Apparently they have introduced changes due to covid.The standard twin bedroom is pretty small.
